The definition Temporada Romagna ( Mototemporada Romagnola ) was originally used to describe a series of motorcycle races that from the 40' s till 1971 were organized in urban circuits of the Romagna region cities as Forli, Milano Marittima, Lugo, Cesenatico, Rimini, Riccione and Cattolica.
The "Mototemporada" is from the Spanish "Moto temporada" = "motorcycle season."
